Education: Andrew graduated from Northeastern University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. In 2004 he completed his Master’s in Business Administration, Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. Andrew has over 18 years of outpatient physical therapy experience. He joined PTSMC as a partner in 2014 when he opened the Southbury office.
Clinical Interests: Some of Andrew’s clinical interests include treatment of spine, sports, and shoulder injuries. In the future he plans to pursue a certification as a Orthopedic Specialist and Manual Therapist. Andrew has completed many continuing education courses including, work injury prevention, vestibular rehabilitation, and orthopedic injuries specifically related to joints. He treats every patient the way he would want his grandmother treated.
Fun Facts: When Andrew is not at the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He coaches and plays ice hockey, and is on the Board for Watertown Youth Hockey. He is a member of the Southbury Chamber of Commerce and the Southbury Business Association.
Education: Erik graduated with his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford.
Training & Certifications: Erik acquired his Cyriax certification in 2008 and has had experience with various orthopedic conditions. Erik has had advanced training in the areas of sports rehabilitation and injury prevention in the knee and shoulder, treatment and management of low back and neck injuries, manual therapy techniques including Muscle Energy and joint mobilization/manipulation and vestibular rehabilitation. He is also trained in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.
Fun Facts: Erik is an avid New York Yankees and NY Giants fan. He enjoys playing golf and running for exercise and loves spending time with his wife and son.
Education: Chelsea graduated from Endicott College in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and a Minor in Psychology. She then went on to Middle Tennessee State University to complete her Masters in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Sport Management in 2015. She’s an ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainer (ITAT) and has completed Graston M1 training for the treatment of soft tissue injuries.
Clinical Interests: Chelsea loves working with athletes to manage orthopedic injuries and is as an ITAT certified athletic trainer, very passionate about concussion prevention and education.
Fun Facts: Chelsea enjoys hiking, running, and spending lots of time with family, friends and her dog! She’s a Red Sox fan, but more importantly, a huge fan of the New England Patriots.
