Steven received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Cardiac Rehabilitation from Ithaca College in 1994, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford in 1998. He has recently completed his manual coursework from the University of St. Augustine and is working towards completing his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) and Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Steven also completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. He became a board certified specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2011. His interest has been in sports medicine and post-surgical rehabilitation and has worked with athletes on the professional, collegiate and high school level. Steven joined PTSMC as a partner in March 2002, and in October 2011 became partner in his second office, Wallingford.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Health Science degree from Quinnipiac University in 1999, and her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2001. Michelle has been in clinical practice working primarily with orthopedic and sports medicine populations, specializing in treatment of the spine. She is certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the spine. In 2011, she completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. Michelle enjoys working with pre/post natal patients. She has been with PTSMC since February 2006, and was promoted to assistant director in 2009. Michelle has continued to grow within the organization, and became director of our Wallingford location when it opened in October 2011.
