Steven received his Bachelor's in Health Studies cum laude from Boston University in 2001 and Master's in Physical Therapy in 2003. He received his Cyriax Orthopedic Evaluation and Treatment certification in 2006 and has attended various continuing education courses based in Maitland, McConnell, and McKenzie techniques. He also completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. Steven joined PTSMC in June of 2007 and became a partner in 2009.
Stacy graduated from the University of Delaware in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She received her Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 1999 from Temple University. Before moving to Connecticut, Stacy spent the last 12 years in Denver, Colorado where she practiced acute physical therapy at Metro Hospital. She is excited about getting back into outpatient sports medicine. Stacy joined PTSMC in July 2011.
Rick graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1976 with degrees in Athletic Training and Physical Education. He also holds a Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Springfield Technical Community College. Throughout his career, Rick has served as an athletic trainer for New London, Montville, Waterford, Ledyard, and Fitch High Schools. He also serves as the medical education instructor for the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) coaching certification program. In May 2007 Rick joined PTSMC when PTSMC acquired the Centers for Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation. In 2011, he completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. Rick was also trained by the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) in Myokinematic Restoration in October 2011. He has been in clinical practice for thirty four years, and is the athletic trainer for Fitch and Ledyard High Schools.
