Education: Steven received a Bachelor's degree in Health Studies cum laude from Boston University in 2001, and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 2003. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Steven joined PTSMC in June 2007, and became a partner in Groton in 2009.
Clinical Interests: Steven completed his Cyriax Orthopedic Evaluation and Treatment certification in 2006. He has attended various continuing education courses based in Maitland, McConnell, and McKenzie techniques. He also completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. Steven enjoys treating patients with sports injuries, such as the shoulder, knee, foot, and ankle.
Fun Facts: When not spending time with his wife and children, Steven is an avid sports fan, and enjoys running and playing soccer.
Education: Rick graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1976 with degrees in Athletic Training and Physical Education. He also holds a Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Springfield Technical Community College. Throughout his career, Rick has served as an athletic trainer for New London, Montville, Waterford, Ledyard, and Fitch High Schools. He also serves as the medical education instructor for the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) coaching certification program. In May 2007 Rick joined PTSMC when PTSMC acquired the Centers for Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation. He has been in clinical practice for thirty four years, and is the athletic trainer for Fitch and Ledyard High Schools.
Clinical Interests: In 2011, he completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. Rick was also trained by the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) in Myokinematic Restoration in October 2011.
Education: Kaylee graduated from SUNY Albany with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology in May 2009. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Sage Graduate School in May 2012. She joined PTSMC's Groton office in February 2013.
Clinical Interests: Some of Kaylee's clinicial interests include treating patients with sports related injuries, pediatrics, and post surgical patients.
