Travis completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Science from Gettsburg College in 1994. He received his Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 1996. Travis began his career in the outpatient physical therapy department of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston before moving to Connecticut. Travis has a strong background in musculoskeletal dysfunctions and imbalances, as well as extensive knowledge in Cyriax, McKenzie and Mulligan manual treatment techniques. He completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. Travis also enjoys treating sports related injuries. He joined PTSMC in February 2006 when he opened the Avon office.
Kristin received her Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Science in 1997 and her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Ithaca College. Kristin has worked in the outpatient physical therapy setting since completing her education. In 2011, she completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. She is also trained in biomechanical foot assessment and orthotic management. Kristin has particular interest in the treatment of pre and post natal women. Kristin joined PTSMC of Avon in June 2009.
Brian completed his Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Connecticut in 2008. He continued his education at UConn and completed his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 2009. Brian holds a Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He also completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. Brian's clinical interests include rehabilitation of the post-surgical and non-surgical athlete. He enjoys utilizing his skills in strength and conditioning to maximize the performance of any athlete. Brian joined PTSMC of Avon in June 2009.
Emily received her Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 2002 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005 from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. Emily is certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the spine since 2008. In 2011, she completed training in the Graston Technique; used for the management of soft tissue injuries. She is also, trained in biomechanical foot assessment and orthotic management. Since graduating in 2002, Emily has worked in outpatient physical therapy and in May 2007, she joined PTSMC in Avon.
